Iconic Staircases #02 - Itamaraty Palace - Oscar Niemeyer

I'm convinced that this is one of the most iconic staircases ever produced.

This free-standing helical staircase constructed from reinforced concrete ticks all the boxes in staircase design. Graceful and technically inspiring, the stair was designed by Oscar Niemeyer as part of the Ministry-of-External-Relations in Brasilia which was constructed between 1960 and 1970.
